I founded Mindspear Technologies in 1997 and built systems for health care, manufacturing and insurance companies. Beginning in 2003 the company moved into promotional sweepstakes developing the first interactive phone / internet entry systems. The clients included Fortune 500 companies like Wrigley, Conagra, Verizon, McDonalds and others that took advantage of data aggregation tools to visualize marketing campaigns in real time.
After taking time off to live in China for 6 years I returned to the Chicago area and began working for a national powersports company and we expanded to 3 locations doing business in multiple states. The business model has been to drive growth through precise, cost-effective business systems, and to expand the sales geography to the entire United States. I have always believed that the key to smart decisions is to gather as much information as possible and to track results by the numbers. As we are fond of saying, "the numbers don't lie".
I have found the joining of software development and analytical tools with marketing concepts to be one of the most enjoyable processes I have known. Human behavior is fascinating, there are so many ways to explore why we make purchasing decisions, why we associate with brands and businesses, and how we interact with online shopping tools. We live in a time when there are so many opportunities to develop new ideas and to take advantage of amazing amounts of information. It is safe to say I enjoy what I do.
This website will be a place for people to visit and hopefully benefit from some of the lessons I have learned over the years. I hope you enjoy it.
